by Christina Maxwell,
Roberto Coin has 10 boutiques throughout the US in amazing travel destinations – from the snowy peaks of Denver to the bright lights of Vegas. So, we’re taking a cross country journey to spotlight each of our boutiques, giving you a glimpse of what each locale has to offer and why we think your next vacation should include a stop at a Roberto Coin.

First stop: Mashpee, MA.
As we prepare for our last getaway of the summer, we are dreaming of escaping to the idyllic Massachusetts Cape to visit our boutique in Mashpee. A hidden gem nestled in the ever-popular Cape Cod, Mashpee provides a serene getaway perfect for a romantic escape or a trip with the whole family. We’ve talked with our friends over at Mashpee and can tell you exactly why Mashpee should be next up on your travel bucket list…

The lobster roll
We know…stating the obvious here…but did you even go to the Cape if you didn’t have at least one lobster roll? Try a classic from The Raw Bar, a casual spot that’s been serving up enormous, no-frill lobster rolls in Mashpee for 32 years. For something a little more unexpected, enjoy a night out at Bleu, an upscale and inventive French eatery. And for a mid-afternoon break to refuel for your shopping, grab an iced latte from The Daily Brew, a coffee shop with a cozy home-away-from-home feel, or stop by Washashore Bakery, conveniently located in Mashpee Commons, for an Instagram-worthy treat. (We’re drooling over the mini key lime cheesecakes and Boston cream cupcakes!)

The blissful beaches
Take a trip down to South Cape Beach, only a 15 minute drive from Mashpee. The wide beach is ideal for long, leisurely walks and enjoying not-too-distant views of Martha’s Vineyard. The beach even has its own state park, complete with fishing, canoeing and miles of walking trails through quiet marshland. A perfect spot for families or a romantic sunset. Or, try Old Silver Beach, with its calm, warm waters and a spectacular view of Buzzards Bay. But this popular spot gets crowded quickly, so get there early!

The charming bed and breakfasts
Enjoy your stay in true New England style at a quaint Bed and Breakfast like the lovely Queen Ann style Palmer House Inn, located only a few minutes away in Falmouth’s Historic District. Adopt the local leisurely pace of life as you enjoy afternoon tea, rock on the front porch or admire all of the elegant homes along the picket-fence lined street. You can even opt to stay here in your very own secluded cottage.

The quintessential New England experience
The village-style Mashpee Commons, where our boutique is housed, is full of treasures itself. You’ll want to peruse other stores—from Vineyard Vines to Fab Villa , which sells local artisan Nantucket baskets and hand-blown glass. But don’t stop there! Get the full New England summer experience by taking a short trip to Falmouth or Hyannis. Both are quintessential New England villages, complete with charming main streets, unique boutiques and excellent dining. At either place, you can take a ferry to try your hand at deep sea fishing or whale watching, or explore destinations like Nantucket or Martha’s Vineyard. Or, take in the whole picture by biking along the 114 miles of Cape Cod, traversing through bay, pond and ocean and discovering plenty of picturesque towns and lighthouses along the way.
