February 2017 Fall Fashion Week Trends

These days, it seems that Fashion Week has become like a sporting event. Our favorite players strut their legs down the runway – all with a different sort of finesse, and we, as spectators watch for the show. Recently, designers are sending more than clothes down the runway. From contemporary ballet dancers to graphic tees addressing politics, what was once considered a show en privé for those worthy of a front row seat, has transformed itself into a global and cultural event. And although the fashions continue to evolve, the message behind it all remains the same: embrace your style. At Roberto Coin, it’s easy to do just that. So, we’ve gathered our favorite looks from the Fall 2017 Runways, and suggested ways to incorporate scintillating style into your look.

One. A Rosy Demeanor. Shades of pink graced the runways of Erdem and Jeremy Scott, and we can’t help but fall in love with an autumn pastel. Accent a soft color with an edgy Pois Moi diamond collar.

Two. Cut It Out. Sticking with that theme of “edgy”, designers like Proenza Schouler and Calvin Klein gave us jagged silhouettes and cut-outs in everything from dresses to suiting. Finish off your look with nothing more than a sleek Symphony bangle.

Three. When All is Plaid and Done. A staple of any Fall wardrobe should include plaid, and there was no shortage of this classic pattern in shows like Calvin Klein and Mulberry. Embrace your inner preppy, and adorn your finger with this Retro ring.

Four. Shearling, My Dear. Speaking of retro, we may want to fish through old closets or those of our relatives to adopt this fall trend. Shearling is another timeless look that received a fresh spin with new shapes and colors from designers like J.W. Anderson and Marc Jacobs. A necklace from the Carnaby Street Collection is just the ticket to achieving that flawless 70s style.
